Addiction Treatment
Evidence-Based Support for Lasting Recovery
At Alder Grove, we provide comprehensive addiction treatment rooted in compassion, science, and a deep understanding of the complex nature of substance use disorders. Our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program is designed to support individuals struggling with opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders by combining FDA-approved medications with supportive, whole-person care.
What is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)?
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach to treating addiction that integrates the use of medications—such as buprenorphine and naltrexone—with personalized and supportive care. MAT is proven to:
- Reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms
- Lower the risk of relapse and overdose
- Support long-term recovery
MAT is not about replacing one drug with another. It’s about stabilizing brain chemistry, reducing the effects of withdrawal, and allowing our patients to focus on healing and rebuilding their lives.
Treatment Options & Diagnosis
Each client begins with a thorough evaluation to understand their unique history, substance use patterns, co-occurring mental health conditions, and goals for recovery.
Buprenorphine/Naloxone Treatment
We provide in-office and telehealth induction and maintenance therapy. After a comprehensive assessment, our providers will discuss treatment options, which may include oral or injectable buprenorphine/naloxone products for opioid use disorders.
Naltrexone Treatment
Naltrexone is a safe and evidence-based treatment to reduce alcohol and opioid cravings. Naltrexone is available in a once daily pill or a once a month injection. After a comprehensive assessment, you and your provider will decide which option may work best for you.
We advocate for individuals to have a recovery team and plan, which may also include participation in individual or group psychotherapy and/or a peer support recovery program.
